The location in Glenwood, (Arkansas, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Forklift Operator
. This job is full-time permanent.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
  • Obtain a copy of production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
  • Move goods packed on pallets or in crates along with parent rolls with clamp trucks around the storage facility.
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
  • Check that loads are secure.
  • Stack empty pallets.
  • Perform daily equipment checks, including safety inspections and lubricating fork trucks.
  • Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Dump materials into machine hoppers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
  • High degree of attention required to prevent damage or injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
  • Execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely.
  • May be required to use an RF scanner gun.
  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license required.
  • Physical demands and abilities: frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Have a good sense of balance, eye-hand-foot coordination.
  • Assess weights, judge distances and heights.
  • Work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
