Pay: $16.90 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with possible Saturday work as required.
Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America)
Job DescriptionThis position is a cross‑training opportunity within the Debone Department. The selected team member will be trained to learn and perform all aspects of the debone cone line operations, including both Class 7 and Class 4 positions. Upon qualification, the candidate will be promoted to class jobs.
Responsibilities- Maintain production efficiency.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Support line operations as needed.
- Operate and maintain line equipment.
Job Requirements
- Safe handling and proper use of knives according to safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and agree to follow safety rules.
- Push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions.
- Work in damp, cold, or hot environments; reach above shoulder level.
- Stand 8–10 hours per day.
- Wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net, and beard guard.
- Be able to maneuver freely and climb up and down steps or stairs as needed.
- Have good hand/eye coordination.
- Prior employment at Tyson:
