Nurse Practitioners with 1+ years of nursing home experience are needed to provide wound care services across long‑term care facilities located throughout Arkansas.

Full and Part Time Opportunities are available!

Key Responsibilities
  • Wound Assessments — Perform detailed evaluations of pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, venous/arterial ulcers, and other skin integrity concerns.
  • Treatment Planning — Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, including dressing selection, treatment frequency, and adjunct therapies.
  • Debridement & Procedures — Perform NP‑appropriate wound care procedures such as debridement, cleansing, and advanced dressing applications.
  • Infection Monitoring — Identify signs of infection, order appropriate labs, and initiate timely interventions.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration — Partner with nursing, therapy, dietary, and administrative teams to support healing, prevent recurrence, and improve overall outcomes.
  • Family & Staff Communication — Provide clear updates, education, and guidance to residents, families, and facility staff regarding wound progress and care expectations.
  • Regulatory Documentation — Maintain accurate, compliant wound documentation, including measurements, staging, progress notes, and photo records.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas with Board Certification.
  • 1+ year of nursing home or long‑term care experience
    .
  • Strong clinical judgment and comfort working independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with DONs, wound nurses, and facility leadership.
