Compensation:
Base salary range $59,000.00 – $88,400.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location and the candidate's experience. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $45,000.00.
- Next Gear, a Cox Automotive Brand, is hiring a Senior Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive for the Arkansas/West Tennessee market (territory covers Arkansas and Western Tennessee). A person must live in this area.
- Also hiring for the Northern Florida area (Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, and north of Daytona Beach); a person must live in this area.
- Maintain a full-time outside sales role with a structured approach to developing new business in a defined territory.
- Achieve target volumes in new applications, activations, monthly new business revenue for Next Gear Capital, and the company’s ancillary products and services.
- Maintain relationships with auction general managers to maximize Next Gear’s business opportunities within assigned auto auctions.
- Collaborate with Next Gear Capital Portfolio Managers in the assigned territory to exceed budgeted goals.
- Educate customers on all Next Gear Capital products including inventory financing (floorplan) and ancillary products and services.
- Gain general knowledge of all Cox Automotive products and make recommendations based on client needs.
- Develop an aggressive sales plan within a defined market.
- Build a prospect list through cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals.
- Conduct weekly cold calls to solicit new relationships for Next Gear Capital.
- Follow up on all leads daily with a sense of urgency.
- Increase loan volume and utilization through service calls to existing customers.
- Visit assigned inactive dealers to re-engage and increase utilization of their Line of Credit (LOC).
- Hit target levels of performance in new applications, loan development, and new business monthly.
- Underwrite potential Next Gear Capital customers prior to accepting an application; monitor applications through the credit process.
- Contract and orient new customers; manage the customer experience during the first six months of the dealer lifecycle.
- Hit target levels of performance in enrollments and sales of Next Gear Capital’s Ancillary Products and Services.
- Develop strong relationships with Next Gear Capital Portfolio Managers.
- Conduct monthly non-sale day visits with assigned auction General Managers.
- Increase Next Gear’s business opportunities at assigned auctions through relationships with auction staff and customers.
You’re a highly motivated self-starter with charisma to spare. You know how to own a room and close a deal while operating with integrity and respect.
Qualifications- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ related experience. Alternative combinations:
Master’s degree with 2 years, PhD with 1 year, or 8 years of related experience. - Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- Preferred: 5 years of outside sales and portfolio management; 3+ years in finance or auto industry; sales management skills; ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn company operating and reporting systems, including Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce.
