Entry‑Level Sales Representative
We would like to add a motivated and personable new employee to our insurance agent team who is seeking a new learning opportunity with lots of room for growth.
The ideal candidate for our entry‑level insurance agent position has solid communication skills to drive insurance sales among potential and new clients. Brings a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative.
Responsibilities- Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
- Tailor risk‑management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs.
- Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients.
- Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited to, cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients.
- Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs.
- Experience using accounting or sales‑related software is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, is required.
- Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial.
- Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.

- Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing and able to obtain a Health & Life producer license – licensing reimbursement offered).
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional (post‑high‑school) work experience. Candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion will be considered, as will candidates with less than 4 years of professional work experience who have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.
- A competitive weekly draw pay with commission and bonuses from the start.

- Short sales cycle, typically less than 3 business days.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
