Overview
The North America MSL is a remote role focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with key medical experts, and allied health professionals. This position will support MSBs circulating multiple myeloma cell (CMMC) assay, circulating tumor cell (CTC) assay with biomarker detection as well as Next Generation Sequencing clinical results from Menarini Search. The candidate will collaborate with our CLIA laboratory and support commercial colleagues with outreach to physicians and other medical experts to support evidence generation, trial enrollment, educational presentations, host tumor boards, gather field intelligence and development of the Cell Search & Menarini Search portfolio.

Education and Experience
- An advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, M.D., Ph.D.) or established proficiency in the diagnostics, genetic profiling and oncology industry will be considered
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of MSL experience in the Molecular Diagnostics Industry. Ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Supporting commercial team in customer engagement and delivering technical education, including clinically relevant applications, of MSBs assays.
- Supporting the marketing department by developing clinical study plans to support clinical utility, billing, and market adoption for existing and new products.
- Establishing KOL networks and Investigator Initiated Studies to expand MSB’s market presence and product adoption through comprehensive published clinical data.
- Should have established network of relationships in the hematological malignancies and/or solid tumor oncology specifically in the geography assigned
- Must be able to leverage MSB’s established relationships in solid (breast and prostate) and liquid tumors to promote peer-to-peer collaborations with key medical experts in academic and community oncology environments
- Must collaborate with physicians on initiatives including publications, advisory boards, medical education programs, training, and speaker development
- Serve as scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders
- Support the medical community with up-to-date medical information, robust disease expertise, and product information
- Communicate clinical insights on new published or competitive data to the company and provide strategies as required
- Develop an understanding of the regional healthcare landscapes
- Deliver effective and appropriate communication among internal/external stakeholders while maintaining fully compliant interactions
- Generate tactical regional plans to provide needs based, value-added support of the medical and scientific community in-line with company goals
- Strategically map, identify, profile and prioritize thought leaders in line with the medical plan and goals
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of MSL activities
- Highly motivated and capable of comprehending large amounts of scientific content and communicate it in a clear, concise fashion
- Technically proficient with Next-Generation Sequencing platforms, NGS panels, and clinical result interpretation
- Advanced disease state awareness of breast, prostate, colorectal, multiple myeloma and CNS malignancies
- Strong teamwork/interpersonal skills
- Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification and evaluation
- Significant experience in professional networking with positive mutually meaningful outcomes
- Familiarity with the academic community and the medical research and medical education process highly valued
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage time efficiently, pivot to shifting priorities and accommodate demands from a highly dynamic competitive market environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including capability to partake in professional relationship building and networking
- Ability to translate technical and clinical data into salient, impactful messaging that can be delivered to internal and external audiences
- Deep understanding and knowledge of local regulations and codes of practice for diagnostic industry, in particular as they apply to the non-promotional activities of this role
- Position requires ability to travel overnight 40 - 60%, as well as work 4 to 6 weekends per year
