Overview
Electrical Trades & Apprenticeship Lead responsible for classroom instruction of electrician apprentices and electrical skills students ition may be based at the Bentonville or Springdale locations and schedules classes primarily between 4:00pm and 10:00pm, Monday‑Thursday.
Responsibilities- Lead classroom instruction appropriate to class/experience level.
- Share trade knowledge and expertise with apprentices and trades students.
- Create and manage delivery of class curriculum in accordance with Western Arkansas Apprenticeship Program’s Appendix A:
Electrician and/or Electrical Skills course outlines. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance; take and report attendance to Director of Trades & Apprenticeship.
- Provide a course syllabus to the Director of Trades & Apprenticeship.
- Report any issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies following NWACC procedures.
- Demonstrate willingness to adjust instructional delivery method as needed.
- Knowledge of current edition of National Electrical Code®.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn NCCER Electrical curriculum.
- Current licensure as a Journey worker or Master Electrician in Arkansas.
$35 per hour.
Physical DemandsWork is performed primarily in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions. Essential functions require:
- Regular physical activity, including standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50lbs.
- Operation of office equipment and repetitive hand movements, including keyboard use.
- Verbal communication and information exchange.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
