Job Overview

Industrial Maintenance Technician – responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

Monday and Tuesday: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

Wednesday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Every other weekend: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM (rotating shifts)

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergencies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
• Complete appropriate paperwork, reports, and lockout/tagout documentation.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to perform diagnoses and repairs without supervision.
• Experience starting equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision.
• Complete work history or resume attached to application.

• Stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, dusty, warm, cold environments.
• Climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.

• Must comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
• Follow Tyson policies and procedures for safety.

• Background check required for certain roles.
• Allowed to work only 1ST SHIFT (United States).
• Prior Tyson employees must observe a 365‑day waiting period before reapplying.
• Can reapply only if you have worked at Tyson no more than three times.
• Failed drug screen requires a 6‑month wait before reapplying.
