Materials Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Materials Planner / Materials Coordinator to support operations at an industrial facility in El Dorado, AR. This role will act as a key bridge between the maintenance team and the warehouse, ensuring that materials required for maintenance activities are properly identified, staged, and available when needed.

This role will be assigned directly to the plant (not turnaround/TAR work) and will collaborate closely with both maintenance and warehouse personnel to improve material flow and planning efficiency.

• Coordinate and plan materials required for maintenance work orders.
• Act as the liaison between maintenance teams and warehouse operations.
• Identify, track, and stage materials needed for maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance materials are available and properly organized to support plant operations.
• Maintain awareness of inventory levels and communicate shortages or material needs.
• Work with warehouse personnel to locate and verify industrial maintenance materials.
• Support maintenance planning processes and improve materials availability.

• Previous warehouse experience in an industrial facility (required).
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance materials and warehouse inventory practices.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Experience supporting maintenance or plant operations is preferred.
