Utz Quality Foods is seeking a PT
Warehouse Person to work at our Wilkes-Barre, PA manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring product rotation, condition, inventory, security, and placement are efficiently maintained. You will also cover open sales routes as needed. This position works on 2nd Shift (Mon, Tue, Thurs and some Saturdays 4:30pm – 10:00pm).

• Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
• Load and unload trucks with product or other materials (box trucks, reefers, 53-foot vans).
• Scan and stage orders using a mobile scanning device.
• Maintain accurate inventory of finished products and rotate inventory as fresh products arrive.
• Organize new inventory according to best practices; double-stacking is required.
• Use basic computer skills to generate Bill of Ladings and packing slips.
• Keep the warehouse and forklift clean, completing daily OSHA-required inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Well-organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to make independent inventory decisions.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience is preferred, but enthusiastic candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment to fulfill warehousing responsibilities (including sit-down forklift and pallet jack).
• Basic computer skills to generate bills of lading and packing slips.
• Must be able and eligible to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate effectively through speech, vision, and hearing.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform daily housekeeping and safety inspections; adhere to OSHA requirements.
