Warehouse Manager, Operations Management
Job Description
Partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement through our Kraft Heinz Management Systems (KHMS), including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
Provide leadership to the Warehouse staff including but not limited to performance management, employee development, and training, etc. with focus on increasing employee engagement and ownership
Assist in the overall efficiency of the operation of the plant by leading the materials process of Raw and Packaging materials, including scheduling of inbound loads and yard management
Manage inventory of Raw and Packaging materials received in the Plant, using best practices for inventory control, like cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
Conduct or direct monthly physical inventories as needed.
Ensure materials are received, labeled, and put away following standard operating procedures, best practices and quality policies.
Stablish and control processes to ensure inbound carriers are controlled to minimize detention charges, losses and damages.
Monitor operations to ensure inventory is properly unloaded, handled, delivered and loaded on the different staged of material handling in the Plant
Manage records like bills of lading, packing slips, and damage reports, addressing any discrepancies
Investigate and approve all invoices for assigned warehouse and production supplies
Optimize warehouse utilization and storage space (e.g., via 5S methods) and maintain best practices for housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient facility
Assist with the department budget by monitoring and controlling direct costs and expenditure
Facilitate communication and interaction with external partners, including suppliers, third party logistics, federal and government entities and corporate officials
Perform scheduling of receiving personnel, including planning, communication, adjustments and administration of timecards for direct reports
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field preferred but not required
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience supervising warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping or receiving functions in a manufacturing environment, managing team members over three shifts
SAP experience is preferred
Knowledge of GMP and safe work practices
WMS, MRP and Inventory control experience
Working experience leading Safety performance
Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Proficient knowledge in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$68,900.00 - $86,100.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
