We have immediate needs for Construction Inspectors in the Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Pinehurst, Raleigh, and Winston-Salem, NC areas for our Transportation division. The successful candidates will support our current staff while assisting in growing the Construction Management and CEI practice to better serve our clients statewide.
Job Responsibilities:Employees will typically be assigned to NCDOT or other roadway and bridge projects, with daily travel to sites required. Night and weekend work may be necessary; overnight travel is unlikely but possible.
Candidates must hold a valid state driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and be able to lift 50 pounds, traverse rough terrain, walk or stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Specific Requirements:Applicants must have at least 5 years of construction inspection experience and possess or be able to acquire within 6 months the following NCDOT certifications at no cost:
- NCDOT/ACI Concrete Field Tech, Grade I
- QMS Asphalt Roadway Tech
- Erosion & Sediment Control Level II
- ABC Sampling
- Borrow Pit Sampling
- Conventional Density
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety
Must be able to perform essential job functions safely and consistently.
Compensation Range:$60,140.00 - $80,187.00
