The Registration Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for prospective and current students seeking assistance with Workforce Continuing Education (WCE) enrollment and registration, account questions, general college information, and available resources. This position provides high-quality, student-centered service throughout the enrollment and registration process.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for WCE for prospective and current students seeking information about WCE programs.
- Provide professional, welcoming, and responsive customer service in person, by telephone, email, and other communication channels.
- Process class registrations, enrollment changes, course withdrawals, waitlist communication, and related processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of registrations while providing a welcoming, student-centered customer service experience.
- Provide appropriate referrals to Admissions, Financial Aid, Record and Registration, academic advising, career services, College and Career Readiness, student support services, and other campus resources.
- Maintain current knowledge of college programs, services, registration procedures, and student support resources.
- Troubleshoot registration issues and resolve routine problems promptly; elevate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
- Verify student information and maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with college policies, FERPA, and applicable regulations and institutional policies.
- Assist with planning and implementation of twice-yearly WCE graduations.
- Assist with scholarship recordkeeping and attendance verification.
- Associate’s degree
- 2 years’ experience in customer service, student services, administrative support, registration, admissions, or related field.
- Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software, and web-based systems.
- Ability to learn and effectively use student information systems, databases, and other technology.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of familiarity with college processes.
- Manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience working in a community college, university, continuing education, or workforce development environment
- Experience with student information systems, registration platforms, CRM systems, or higher education technology
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations and adult learners
