• Provide nursing care in the Cardiothoracic ICU, a specialized 18-bed acuity adaptable unit.
• Manage care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic or vascular surgery, including managing intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices.
• Develop assessment skills, manage drip titrations, chest tubes, and ventilators.
• Manage patient care from admission through discharge, emphasizing efficient, patient-centered care.

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required.
• Heart experience preferred.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
