- Provide nursing care in the Cardiothoracic ICU, a specialized 18-bed acuity adaptable unit.
- Manage care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic or vascular surgery, including managing intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices.
- Develop assessment skills, manage drip titrations, chest tubes, and ventilators.
- Manage patient care from admission through discharge, emphasizing efficient, patient-centered care.
- Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required.
- Heart experience preferred.
- ACLS and BCLS certifications required.
