The Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) is an intermediate cardiac unit specializing in pre- and post-procedural care. This includes patients with NSTEMI or active chest pain requiring cardiac interventions, electrophysiology abnormalities treated with ICDs or radio frequency ablations. We manage dysrhythmias through administration and titration of cardiac drips. Nurses actively participate in bedside procedures and manage arterial access devices. CSU is a busy, fast-paced unit seeking highly motivated team players looking to expand their cardiac skill set and provide optimal patient outcomes.
Nurses are expected to obtain and maintain ACLS certification.
