Full-time,Evening Shift, 1:00pm
-11:30pm,7 days on-7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

As a First Health Emergency  Medicine Pharmacist,you will serve as a highly visible and integral member of the multidisciplinary team. This is a true bedside clinical role with minimal order verification ,allowing you to focus on direct patient care, critical interventions, and high-impact clinical work.
In this position, you will work side-by-side with emergency physicians, nurses, and other providers in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will have significant opportunities to drive process improvement initiatives that enhance medication safety, workflow efficiency, and patient outcomes across the emergency department and health system.

• Respond to code blues and other emergencies throughout the hospital
• Actively participate in medication preparation and management of high-risk patients, including STEMI, acute ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, rapid sequence intubation, and procedural sedation
• Provide comprehensive clinical services such as pharmacokinetic dosing of antimicrobials and anticoagulants, culture follow-up on discharged patients, and other targeted interventions
• Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing emergency medicine pharmacy services
• Oversee medication reconciliation technicians and perform final review of home medication lists
• Precept and mentor PGY1 and PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residents
• Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients
