Job Title

• Patient Registration: Register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Insurance Verification: Verify insurance.
• Demographic Verification: Ensure all patient demographic information is up to date.
• Customer Service: Maintain a customer-centric approach when dealing with all types of patients, both internal and external.
• Communication: Provide clear and effective communication with patients and medical staff.
• Administrative Duties: Manage multiple tasks in an organized manner, complete required documentation, and follow up on outstanding issues.

Job functions include:
Telephone patient registration, preparation and scanning of medical records. Shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• • Understanding of medical terminology.
• • Two years of experience in a medical-related field preferred.
• • Bilingual skills preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in typing (minimum 35 wpm) and computer literate.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.

• • Primary office environment/workstation.
• • Potential exposure to communicable diseases.
• • Physical requirements include:
• • Stooping:
    Bending the body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist.
• • Crouching:
    Bending the body downward and forward by bending the legs and the spine.
• • Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
• • Medium physical effort required, including lifting up to 40 pounds and frequently carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
