Lead Pastor (Full-Time)

Sandhills Alliance Church is seeking a lead pastor who is motivated to reach into this growing community and disciple and train the congregation to be outward focused. The pastor must also be strong in shepherding the current congregation.

The village of Pinehurst is an affluent community which is famous for its golf course resort. The village has been rated to be the safest in the country for several years. 40% of the community are retirees. There are younger families moving into the community near the church building.

Bachelor's degree minimum, Masters preferred. Must be eligible for C&MA license and willing to begin the Alliance ordination process. The ideal candidate has five to ten years of experience in pastoral ministry.

Health coverage, full-time salary. 55 avg. Sunday attendance. Semi-rural, suburban setting. Sandhills Alliance Church is approximately 42 years old, planted in 1984. The congregation is older, friendly and welcoming. The current pastor is ready for retirement and he has guided the search committee to begin their process to seek out their next pastor.
