Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards of nursing practice.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond appropriately.
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, procedures, and ongoing care needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
  • Valid NC LPN license, RN license or Compact State RN license required
  • BCLS required
  • One year of experience in medical-surgical nursing (preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
