Minimum of 2-years experience as a Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) required.
Requirements- Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
- Current ACLS and NIHSS certification required. PALS and/or trauma certifications may be required prior to first shift.
- Minimum of 2-years full-time experience as an ED RN (most recent experience within the last year).
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Strong ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.
- Competency in current emergency room evidence-based practices and protocols for STEMI, sepsis, stroke, and trauma care.
- Familiarity with conditions such as severe lacerations or burns, sports injuries, allergic reactions, and work-related injuries.
