SummaryThe Titleist Shop at Padgett Center Associate supports the daily operations of the Titleist Shop at the Padgett Center by assisting with club and golf ball fitting operations, retail sales, guest service, and shop organization. This hourly position plays a key role in delivering a high‑quality, professional, and welcoming experience for members, resort guests, and the greater golfing community. The associate works closely with PGA Professionals, Fitters, and Shop leadership to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and exceptional service standards.
Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of three months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times, to Members, Guests, Visitors, Business Partners and fellow Employee Partners.
- Greet members/guests and direct to resort amenities.
- Adhere to all Property and Department policies and procedures.
- Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and material properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions.
- Support guest check‑in, fitting flow, and appointment coordination.
- Respond to guest questions and escalate concerns appropriately to leadership.
- Maintain a service‑focused presence aligned with Pinehurst Resort standards.
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and organization of club and golf ball fitting sessions.
- Prepare fitting bays, equipment, and tools for daily use.
- Support club repair intake, tracking, and organization.
- Ensure fitting and work areas remain clean, organized, and guest‑ready.
- Assist with retail transactions and customer product inquiries.
- Maintain product presentation, displays, and merchandising standards.
- Re‑stock merchandise and assist with basic inventory tasks.
- Build familiarity with Titleist product lines and fitting concepts.
- Assist with scheduling, reservation coordination, and daily task execution.
- Utilize in‑house systems such as Track Man, Golf Genius, and Agilysys Golf/V1 as trained.
- Communicate effectively with leadership regarding daily needs or issues.
- Answer Golf Operations phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with tee time bookings, modifications, and general golf inquiries.
- Provide accurate information regarding course availability, policies, and daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with Golf Operations team to ensure alignment on tee sheet activity and guest needs.
- Support overall golf shop responsibilities consistent with a traditional golf operations attendant role.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
