Job OverviewThe Process Engineer is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the shields manufacturing process. You will work closely with various teams to ensure stable, safe, and efficient production that meets our quality standards. This role balances immediate production support with long-term process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Technical ownership of assigned production processes to ensure control and stability.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to meet key KPIs such as yield, productivity, and cycle time.
- Troubleshoot complex process/equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and execute improvement opportunities using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Analyze process data to diagnose and communicate drivers of variation and yield loss.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and support change management.
- Support industrialization for new products and process changes.
- Provide technical coaching to enhance team capabilities.
- Maintain a strong floor presence and respond to production needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related) or equivalent education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering in a production environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills using structured methods.
- Knowledge of process control concepts and continuous improvement fundamentals.
- Comfortable working with manufacturing chemicals.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5 years of experience in coatings, cleanroom, chemical processing, or similar environments.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP) and DOE, SPC, and capability studies.
