Aircraft Assembler - 2nd Shift

PGS Worldwide is seeking Aircraft Assemblers in Pinellas Park, FL for one-year contract-to-hire roles supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Aircraft Assemblers will support aircraft production by performing hands-on assembly work using drawings, work instructions, hand tools, inspection tools, torque wrenches, drills, riveting tools, and related manufacturing equipment. These roles are a strong fit for candidates with aircraft assembly, structures, sheet metal, or manufacturing experience.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of assembly, structures, sheet metal, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using hand tools such as torque wrenches, drills, inspection tools, riveting tools, and other assembly tools.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings or instructions.
• Ability to support aircraft production assembly work.
• Availability to work overtime on weekends depending on business needs.

Preferred Skills

• Structures assembly experience.
• Sheet metal assembly experience.
• F-35, F-16, or C-130 aircraft experience.
• Experience with aircraft assembly, airframe assembly, riveting, drilling, torque tools, inspection tools, manufacturing work instructions, and aerospace production.

What You’ll Do

• Perform aircraft assembly operations in a production environment.
• Use hand tools, torque wrenches, drills, inspection tools, riveting tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Support structures, sheet metal, and general manufacturing assembly tasks.
• Inspect work using appropriate tools and follow quality requirements.
• Support weekend overtime as needed based on business needs.

Work Schedule / Shift

• 2nd shift.
• Weekend overtime may be required depending on business needs.

Pay

• $22.66–$26.00/hour
