Process Technician

As a Process Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands.     Fixed 12-hour shift assignments on days or nights with a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. This equates to two 3-day weekends off every month!

You Will

  • Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe and climate-controlled environment
  • Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights and dimensions

You Have

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification or Secondary Education in Industrial, Electrical, Robotic, Mechanical, or Automotive Technology.
  • Or, a combination of relevant work experience and education that demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude and an ability to perform the essential functions and duties of the position.
