- Provide independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.
- Perform routine and complex patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, aligned with professional standards.
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.
- Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, tailoring care accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and adapt to complex clinical situations.
