Laboratory Technician

Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the laboratory supporting scientists and laboratory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Pineville, LA

Pay Range: $19.97 - $20.52/hr

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests to support qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gaseous materials.
• Handle laboratory equipment, analyze samples and substances, conduct tests, and report findings to laboratory management.
• Receive, label, analyze, and document samples while maintaining accurate records and test results.
• Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations, and interpret findings.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, organize chemicals and materials safely, and ensure compliance with all safety guidelines.

• Degree in a related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances.
• Skilled in the use of laboratory equipment.
• Ability to create and analyze statistical calculations.
• Ability to prepare reports and accurately document laboratory results.
