Inspect a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles to determine repairs and ensure operational readiness;
Inspect and test complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems;
Utilize testing equipment and procedures to verify tolerances and safety factors;
Prepare repair lists, parts, and man-hours; evaluate economical repair options;
Serve on Command Maintenance Evaluation Teams (COMET) and Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Teams (MAIT) or perform related duties as assigned
