What You'll Do
- Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer to transport and deliver products, materials, and equipment while maintaining an excellent safety record.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checks of tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and other critical components to ensure DOT compliance and safe vehicle operation.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, shipping documents, and transportation paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load, unload, inspect, and secure cargo using proper tie-down procedures to ensure safe and on-time deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, delays, and transportation-related issues while providing exceptional customer service.
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards, perform minor roadside maintenance when needed, and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Driving Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- DOT Medical Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
- 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
