$110,000 - $135,000 per year
Responsibilities- Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of chemical handling systems and infrastructure.
- Provide equipment specifications and oversee the procurement and installation of new equipment.
- Handle hazardous chemicals, ensuring their safe storage, usage, and disposal in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and support physical plant/process equipment.
- Independently manage and own projects/processes within a plant environment, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
- Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Engineering, contractors/vendors, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.
- Regularly inspect facilities and systems to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience working directly with hazardous chemicals, chemical handling systems, wastewater/process utilities, or chemical/process infrastructure preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability.
- Proven experience managing projects/processes independently within a plant environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally with various teams.
