Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance repairs in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Respond to and resolve service requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure systems are functioning at optimal levels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, diagnosing issues and providing effective solutions.
  • Assist in apartment turnover processes by ensuring units are ready for new residents, including repairs, touch‑ups, and inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, keeping maintenance areas, tools, and equipment in top condition.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to prioritize and complete daily maintenance activities.
  • Follow all safety protocols and building codes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform general building inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
  • Work with vendors for more specialized repairs or services, ensuring quality work within budget.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately for record‑keeping and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.
  • Be available to work weekends and participate in the on‑call rotation.
  • Assist in maintaining the community’s curb appeal by performing tasks such as litter removal, landscaping upkeep, and ensuring the exterior of the property is well‑maintained.
What You Bring To

The Role
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while maintaining a high level of quality in all tasks.
  • Experience in residential repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly assess and address maintenance issues.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards to minimize liability and ensure the property remains in top condition.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver’s license and insurance are required.
  • Proficiency with property management software, apps, and general computer programs.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and a creative, solution‑oriented mindset.
  • A polished, professional appearance with the ability to represent the brand with pride.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, take on new challenges, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
