Position OverviewThe General Manager is responsible for driving the performance and success of our Charlotte Division. This role leads all aspects of showroom and custom installation operations, sales, customer experience, team development, and local market engagement. You will be a strategic leader, passionate about delivering exceptional service, achieving sales goals, and building the showroom’s reputation as the go-to destination for premium home technology.
PositionResponsibilities
- Lead daily showroom operations while coordinating installation and service teams to deliver a professional, customer-focused experience.
- Execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and exceed performance targets.
- Manage the showroom team — hiring, coaching, and motivating staff to deliver world-class service and results.
- Foster a culture of excellence that reflects Audio Advice’s values and customer‑centric approach.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, optimal product presentation, and showroom visual standards.
- Analyze sales performance and customer engagement to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for the Charlotte showroom.
- Resolve customer issues with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term loyalty.
- Collaborate with marketing and corporate teams to support local promotions, events, and brand initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive performance against measurable goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day‑to‑day operational needs.
- A passion for high‑end technology, design, and creating exceptional experiences.
- Proficiency with retail metrics, financial reporting, and team performance tracking.
Strong experience in retail leadership, general management, or related operational roles.
Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve sales targets and service excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
Position CharacteristicsFull-time, on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
