Production Quality Coordinator
Production Quality Coordinator As a Production Quality Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving product and process quality across the organization. You will support the quality team through inspections, testing, calibration, and document control, ensuring compliance with ISO/IATF standards and customer requirements. Full-Time Temp to Hire Opportunity! 1st Shift – 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Pay Rate: $26.50/Per Hour/BOE Attendance Bonus Get paid every Friday!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials and components using visual and measurement tools.
- Perform in-process inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Execute product testing and accurately document results.
- Perform final/shipping inspections to verify outgoing product quality.
- Monitor production processes and identify non-conformances; escalate or resolve issues as needed.
- Manage calibration and verification of measurement and test equipment.
- Maintain logs and tracking of quality and test devices.
- Support document control processes in compliance with ISO/IATF standards.
- Document audit findings and generate clear, accurate reports.
- Assist Quality Manager with reporting, data tracking, and administrative tasks.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality policies, and company procedures.
- Additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Automotive industry quality experience REQUIRED.
- Associate degree (2-year) required; technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 standards.
- Hands-on experience with metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP or quality systems preferred.
- Familiarity with document control and audit processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
