IPEX has an exciting opportunity as a Director of Sales – Retail, based out of Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA. At IPEX, the leader in thermoplastic piping systems, we are redefining the future of water management and clean energy.

Responsibilities
  • Lead with vision:
    Inspire and guide a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and deliver commercial excellence.
  • Strategize for impact:
    Build and execute winning strategies for DIY and hardware retail customers.
  • Drive growth:
    Identify new opportunities, expand market share, and elevate our presence in the U.S. retail landscape.
  • Build relationships:
    Cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Champion talent:
    Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within your team.
  • Own the numbers:
    Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics with precision and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally:
    Work closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and more to align on goals and deliver results.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (advanced degree or certifications a plus).
  • Experience:

    10+ years in senior sales roles, ideally within retail and wholesale environments.
  • Leadership:
    Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams.
  • Industry Insight:
    Deep understanding of DIY and hardware retail channels.
  • Resilience:
    Strategic mindset, bias for action, and a drive to win.
  • Data Analytics:
    Fluency in predictive analytics, customer insights, and sales automation.
  • Travel: 35% of the time.
