Cam-Ful Industries is seeking an experienced HVAC Pipe Fitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial mechanical piping systems, including chilled water, hot water, condenser water, steam, and other HVAC piping systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can interpret blueprints and is committed to producing quality workmanship while maintaining a safe job site.

Responsibilities- Install carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, CPVC, and other piping systems for commercial HVAC applications.
- Install piping for chilled water, hot water, condenser water, glycol, steam, compressed air, and process piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bevel, fit, and assemble piping accurately.
- Install valves, pumps, strainers, expansion tanks, coils, heat exchangers, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform pipe welding preparation and coordinate with certified welders when required.
- Install hangers, supports, anchors, and seismic bracing.
- Perform hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, and system start-up assistance.
- Ensure piping is properly aligned, pitched, and supported.
- Work closely with HVAC mechanics, sheet metal mechanics, electricians, and project managers.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Complete daily reports and document work completed.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Travel between multiple commercial job sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum3 years
of commercial or industrial pipe fitting experience. - Experience with commercial HVAC mechanical piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
- Experience with:
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Copper
- PVC/CPVC
- Experience installing:
- Chilled Water Systems
- Hot Water Systems
- Condenser Water Systems
- Steam Systems
- Process Piping
- Knowledge of grooved piping systems (Victaulic or equivalent).
- Experience threading, grooving, soldering, brazing, and pipe layout.
- Strong understanding of piping elevations, offsets, and system layouts.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and lifting equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with medical gas or process piping.
- Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certifications.
- Welding experience (TIG, MIG, or Stick) is a plus.
- Experience working on hospitals, schools, manufacturing facilities, and data centers.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to
75 pounds
regularly. - Frequently stand, kneel, crouch, bend, climb ladders, and work overhead.
- Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Wear required PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and fall protection.

This position works primarily on commercial construction and industrial job sites. Employees may be exposed to dust, noise, temperature extremes, and other construction-related conditions while following all company safety procedures.
