Responsibilities
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; offers related customer service functions; performs other duties as assigned.
ScheduleFull‑time. Monday–Saturday, day off TBD each week. Availability 6:30–20:30; shifts change based on vacation coverage each week.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or GED.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months of courier experience preferred; must demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Strong human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
- Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
- Neat appearance required for customer contact.
- Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license per state requirements for the assigned vehicle type and maintain a good driving record as outlined in policy.

- Must work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety at all times.
