Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Pinson, AL

Schedule/

Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Four 10-hour shifts
• 8-week assignment
• 8 on-call days, including 1 weekend every 4 weeks

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years' Cath Lab nursing experience
• Previous experience as a travel Cath Lab RN preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cath lab procedures
• Monitor patients for complications and respond to emergent situations according to protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams during procedures and recovery
• Maintain accurate and real-time documentation using Cerner
• Rotate participation in the on-call schedule, ensuring timely response for urgent cases
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations
