Toolroom Machinist Requirements
- Experience operating a Fryer lathe and TRAK mill, including on‑machine programming
- Working knowledge of manual lathes and surface grinders
- Ability to set up, program, and operate Fryer lathes and TRAK mills to produce quality production parts
- Run Standard operating procedures on multiple axis machines
- Contact Manufacturing Services to troubleshoot process problems
- Change perishable tooling when required
- Install new tool holders
- Follow set up instructions to set up CNC machines
- Follow inspection plans to inspect parts
- Communicate to co-workers on status of cell operations
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Troubleshoot tooling as required
- Work holding (fixturing – chucking)
High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 years of experience
Machinist Technical Skills- Machining Experience
- Millturn & Multi‑Axis Machines
- Mazak experience preferred
- Competency in Machining Skills
