The company uses advanced laser cutting, metal forming, welding, media blasting, and powder coating technology to serve well‑known customers such as Caterpillar, Harley‑Davidson, John Deere, Navistar, and Whirlpool. AFI’s equipment includes high‑capacity fiber‑optic lasers, Cincinnati press brakes, precision spot welders, and automated powder coating lines capable of handling a wide range of part sizes and substrates.

The Press Brake Operator is a full‑time, on‑site role based at Aesthetic Finishers Inc. in Piqua, OH. This role is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring press brake equipment to form sheet metal parts according to engineering drawings, work orders, and quality standards. Day‑to‑day tasks include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, performing machine adjustments, inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy, and maintaining documentation of production.

The Press Brake Operator will work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production schedules, identify and resolve basic equipment issues, and support continuous improvement efforts in the metal forming area. Routine housekeeping of the work area and adherence to all safety procedures are essential parts of the role.

• Demonstrated skills in Machine Operation, with experience setting up and running press brakes or similar metal forming equipment.
• Strong Quality Control abilities, including measuring parts, verifying tolerances, and maintaining consistent production standards.
• Familiarity with Printing processes (such as pad or screen printing) and Pre‑press steps is beneficial for supporting downstream finishing operations.
• Troubleshooting skills to identify and correct common machine, tooling, or material issues during production.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions; basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Attention to safety, with a commitment to using PPE and following company safety policies in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing is preferred; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Reliable attendance, ability to stand for extended periods, and capability to lift materials as required for press brake operations.
