Manufacturing Services Technician

Hartzell Propeller is seeking a Manufacturing Services Technician to support production of advanced aircraft propeller systems in Piqua, OH. In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate manufacturing equipment, perform mechanical assembly, and conduct in-process inspections to ensure safety and quality standards. You'll follow work instructions, use precision measuring tools, and document results in our systems. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement, maintain a safe, organized work area, and take pride in building components that support global aviation performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment for propeller components
• Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly per drawings and work instructions
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality standards
• Complete in-process inspections and accurately document results in production systems
• Follow strict safety, quality, and regulatory procedures in all tasks
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool and material handling
• Report equipment issues and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Adhere to production schedules and meet established productivity targets
