As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and strengthen product quality across the business.
This position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact through process improvements, root cause problem solving, supplier quality initiatives, and quality systems development in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead quality system tools including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
- Manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
- Support ISO certification activities, audits, and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Develop inspection methods, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
- Support supplier quality initiatives and supplier performance improvement efforts.
- Analyze quality performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to improve product and process quality.
- Travel to customer and supplier locations as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.

- Driving timely resolution of quality concerns through structured problem-solving methods.
- Reducing defects, rework, and process variation through continuous improvement efforts.
- Supporting successful audits, certifications, and customer quality requirements.
- Improving quality performance metrics and operational effectiveness.
- Building strong partnerships across manufacturing, engineering, and supplier networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience using data and metrics to identify and drive improvements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Experience with PPAP, FAI, CAPA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Supplier Quality experience.
- Experience using Power BI, Minitab, or other data analysis and reporting tools.
