Machine Maintenance Technician

Hartzell Propeller is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair CNC, fabrication, and support equipment in our aviation propeller manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support continuous improvement to maximize uptime and product quality. You'll collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams in a safety-first environment, using your technical skills to keep precision machinery operating at peak performance and support world-class aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC and production machinery to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Inspect, adjust, and calibrate equipment to meet quality and safety standards
• Use technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to diagnose equipment problems
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and communicate status with production teams
• Support continuous improvement, reliability, and 5
• S initiatives in the maintenance area
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and proper use of PPECollaborate with engineering and quality to resolve recurring equipment issues
• Recommend parts, tools, and process changes to improve machine reliability
