Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to contribute to the development and improvement of our Global Portal. In this role, you will work closely with diverse teams, including Product Management, IT, Operations, and Business Stakeholders, to create solutions that enhance the digital experience for customers. This is a long-term contract position based in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements by conducting workshops, interviews, and system evaluations.

- Develop detailed process maps to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization and automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain clear use cases and workflow diagrams.

- Facilitate alignment among Product Management, Development, QA, and Stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of priorities and requirements.

- Support the testing phase by creating test cases, assisting in execution, and validating results during User Acceptance Testing.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer for both internal teams and external customers, ensuring seamless adoption of new features.

- Act as a subject matter expert for the Global Portal, ensuring consistency in customer experience across different regions and products.

- Partner with change management teams to prepare businesses for new portal enhancements and ensure successful implementation.

- Coordinate with Product and Program Managers to monitor project progress, address risks, and manage scope adjustments. Requirements - Proven experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.

- Familiarity with customer service operations, especially call center environments.

- Strong ability to review and analyze documents and processes for optimization.

- Knowledge and experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies.

- Proficiency in gap analysis and identifying areas for process improvement.

- Background in business process consulting and workflow design.

- Experience working with customer portals and digital platforms.
