Posting Summary

The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP), Rutgers University invites applications for Par Lecturer teaching positions for several doctoral level courses in the clinical department to fit required coursework or high-needs electives. Opportunities for recurring appointments exist. A prepared syllabus is available for review for any of the below courses at: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Candidates will assume primary responsibility for developing or refining the course syllabus, presenting high quality lectures, running class discussions and other teaching activities, and evaluating students based on course expectations and program-wide competencies.

PTL's are expected to adhere to high quality instructional practices that integrate multiple modalities and approaches, such as whole class lecture, small group activities, videos, role playing etc. Hybrid formats using a combination of online and in-person platforms may be applied with the appropriate plan. Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

A doctorate in psychology or related field relevant to course content area;

Strong communication and organizational skills

Demonstrated knowledge or expertise in the specific course content

Demonstrated knowledge or expertise in relevant coursework

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching at college level and/or related experiences
