Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Tutor III for Academic Support Services. Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Focuses on working with students with specific specialized academic needs. Meets with assigned at-risk students to review course materials. Assists with comprehension and develop study skills in students. Provides lesson plans to help students in achieving academic goals. Reports to academic support staff on students' progress for assigned sessions.

Salary Details - $35 - $50 per hour

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Patience, persistence, and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree strongly preferred. Experience in teaching, secondary education, and/or academic support with special populations is highly desired.
