This full-time, contract position runs from September 3, 2026, to June 23, 2026, and is situated in a friendly elementary setting. Workdays span Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week. As the sole nurse on campus, you'll have autonomy as well as access to a knowledgeable advisory team for support when needed.

Qualifications and Desired

Skills:

• Active New Jersey RN or CSN license is required.
• Previous experience in a school nurse role highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Genesis charting system is a strong plus.
• Confident and comfortable working independently as the only nurse in the building.
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily care for students in the elementary health room, providing first aid, managing chronic health concerns, and administering medication.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records in compliance with state and school protocols.
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to coordinate care for students with specific health needs.
• Handle health emergencies, implement care plans, and promote student wellness through education and preventative measures.
• Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families, supporting a safe and healthy school environment.
