The Education and Employment Research Center at the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University seeks a part-time quantitative researcher for work on higher education and workforce development projects to help design and execute quantitative research and evaluation plans.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- • Master or Doctoral degree in social science discipline.
• Minimum of three years of academic or professional research experience required.
· Experience working with data in Microsoft Excel,SPSS,SASand/orSTATA.
• Experience with Qualtrics survey development and administration required.
• Experience in conducting education and/or workforce research required.
• Experience with state administrative records data sets on students, federal survey systems and national datasets required.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Microsoft Excel,SPSS,SASand/orSTATA, and Qualtrics
• Demonstration of strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work well with others, as well as independently under minimal supervision
• Strong quantitative ability, including knowledge of quasi-experimental methods
Preferred Qualifications
Overview - This is a grant funded position. Hours for this position will vary quarterly, from 10 to 30+ hours per week, depending on project funding and need. The duration of the position will be determined by project funding and need.
