What You’ll Do:

  • Safely assist with medication administration in accordance with state regulations, community policies, and delegated responsibilities
  • Observe residents and promptly communicate medication-related concerns, questions, or changes in condition to the nursing team
  • Maintain accurate medication records and documentation to support resident care and regulatory compliance
  • Foster positive communication with residents, families, and team members to support quality care and resident well-being
  • Receive, organize, and properly store pharmacy deliveries and medication supplies according to established procedures
  • Assist with wellness-related tasks such as obtaining vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and other approved support services as directed
  • Support residents in the Assisted Living community by promoting comfort, independence, and a positive daily experience

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification and/or Current and active New Jersey CNA certification(required)
  • Previous experience working in long-term care or assisted living setting (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
