Position Overview

Driver – Part Time (As needed during the week) at UMC, Pitman Manor Community, Pitman, New Jersey.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with roads within the county.
• Two years as a licensed driver with a current NJ driver’s license and no moving violations.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license is preferred.

• Transport residents to their appointments in a timely manner.
• Assist residents with entering and/or exiting vehicle and operate lift as necessary.
• Return to the community safely after each trip.
• Carry resident’s necessary information (e.g., medical files, physician address, consult sheet).
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle: carry cell phone at all times, keep gasoline level above half, check vehicles for safe operation, keep them clean and neat.
• Advises Director of Community Life of any vehicle maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate mileage records in vehicle logs.
• Prepare and submit billing charge slips for transportation provided.

Salary: $16.19 – $17.80 per hour.
