Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 + Bonus + Paid Relocation

• BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Chemical Engineering strongly preferred)
• 15–20 years of Capital Project Management experience within chemical manufacturing
• Proven leadership of large-scale capital projects valued at $30M+
• Expert knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), MOC, and SIS implementation
• Strong experience with stage-gate/FEL methodologies and project controls tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
• Hands‑on knowledge of chemical unit operations (reaction chemistry, distillation, mixing, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels)

• $150K–$200K base salary (depending on experience)

We are seeking a high-impact Sr. Project Manager / Capital Projects to lead major capital investment initiatives across a North American manufacturing network. This role is ideal for a strategic engineering leader who thrives in complex chemical manufacturing environments and can drive infrastructure and production projects from concept through full operational handover.

You will serve as the primary project leader, ensuring execution excellence across safety, scope, budget, schedule, and strategic alignment.

• Lead high-value capital projects exceeding $30M from feasibility (FEL) through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Oversee vendor selection, detailed engineering, and construction management

• Act as subject matter expert on OSHA PSM requirements
• Lead HAZOPs, LOPAs, PSSRs, and other critical safety reviews
• Ensure full compliance with MOC and SIS protocols

• Align project objectives with business strategy and operational needs
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans
• Drive coordination between technology, engineering, and plant operations

• Direct cross-functional engineering teams (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation)
• Oversee contractors supporting chemical processing and unit operations

• Provide regular updates to Steering Committees and senior leadership
• Present cost performance, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
