Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for coordinating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
- Schedule and oversee repair, modification, and maintenance activities; support the development and review of standard operating procedures.
- Participate in process safety activities including HAZOPs and FMEAs and act as a site liaison with the corporate process safety group; oversee new equipment installations.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed by maintenance and operations personnel.
- Provide technical input on equipment lifecycle and new equipment purchases.
- Coordinate material and equipment movement, contribute to Six Sigma projects, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science (preferred) or high school diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, and Operating Procedures.
- Working knowledge of welding techniques.
- Experience with high‑pressure piping systems and familiarity with cryogenic pumps and systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications.
This role will be based out of Central Cal/Bay Area.

Pay range: $30.00 - $38.00 hourly.
